In the Domaine’s two parcels, the bedrock is very close to the ground, just a few centimetres underfoot. The minerality it conveys to the wine is therefore clean, precise and powerful.
Vinification & Maturation
In stainless steel tanks, for at least 12 months.
Tasting notes
Notes of undergrowth and fern, mixed with other spicier ripe fruit, cocoa and pepper aromas, suggesting a lively, very mineral and chalky palate, with the famous gunflint taste, sometimes with a suggestion of liquorice notes.
