This rare legend is the smallest Grand Cru in Chablis. Our parcel is located on the appellation's upper slope.
Ageing: 10 years or more
Kimmeridgian. Moderately deep, brown clay soil with small pebbles that improve drainage.
South-west exposure with good air circulation and temperatures moderated by the river Serein. Gentle slope.
Years planted: 1950 / 1980
Les Clos
The monks at Pontigny planted the first vineyards in this extraordinary place, and they certainly made an excellent decision!
Ageing: 10 years or more
Kimmeridgian. A perfect balance between limestone and clay over marl with oyster fossils. Moderately deep soil. Our parcel is located in the middle of the very steep slope.
Year planted: 1968
Kimmeridgian. North-facing slopes. White clay and limestone soil with some chalk covers the steepest parts, while the western area is made up of browner clay soils.

Vaudésir
Several soil types coexist in this climat. The Domaine's parcel is in the middle of the middle of the valley and faces north.
